Novel Insights on Pyoverdine: From Biosynthesis to Biotechnological Application

Abstract: Pyoverdines (PVDs) are a class of siderophores produced mostly by members of the genus Pseudomonas. Their primary function is to accumulate, mobilize, and transport iron necessary for cell metabolism.
