Abstract:Background
HOTAIR, as one of the few well-studied oncogenic lncRNAs, is involved in human tumorigenesis and is dysregulated in most human cancers. The transcription co-activator factor YAP1 is broadly expressed in many tissues, and promotes cancer metastasis and progression. However, the precise biological roles of HOTAIR and YAP1 in cancer cells remain unclear.
Methods
The expression levels of HOTAIR and YAP1 were measured by quantitative PCR (qPCR), immunoblotting. Wound-healing and transwell assays were u… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
