Abstract: Lysosphingolipids are important lipid signaling molecules that are associated predominantly with high density lipoproteins (HDL) in human plasma. Further, HDL has been shown to be a target for the reactive chlorinating species (RCS) produced by myeloperoxidase (MPO).
