Abstract: We report a case of non-traumatic spinal epidural haematoma in a female vocational diver after breath-hold diving. Sudden and repetitive atmospheric changes along diving may cause venous engorgement of the valveless spinal epidural veins. We suggest that repetitive barotrauma was the cause of the spinal epidural haematoma in this patient.
