“…Various sulphonamides were reported by Miller and Kritzler (1943) to be of little value. Sulphapyridine was reported by Arnold (1945) to control symptoms of a patient who relapsed on each of five occasions when the drug was discontinued. Koch (1951) also found sulphapyridine of value, and he reported a case in which nodules disappeared after 20,000 units of penicillin three-hourly for 15 days.…”
