Abstract: OBJETIVO: Verificar o efeito da esplenectomia total, da ligadura dos vasos esplênicos principais e da esplenectomia subtotal com preservação do pólo inferior, nos lípides plasmáticos de ratos alimentados com dieta-controle ou dieta acrescida com 2,5% de colesterol.
