Nitrogen-use efficiency of organic and conventional arable and dairy farming systems in Germany

Abstract: Optimising nitrogen (N) management improves soil fertility and reduces negative environmental impacts. Mineral N fertilizers are of key importance in intensive conventional farming (CF).
