“…Figure 3(f) is the high-resolution XPS image of Ti2p, the peaks are located at binding energies 464.3, 458.5, 463.5, and 458.0 eV, corresponding to Ti 4+ 2p 1/2 , Ti 4+ 2p 3/2 , Ti 3+ 2p 1/2 , and Ti 3+ 2p 3/2 , respectively. The fitting results show that Ti 3+ exists on the surface of TiO 2−x -0.3 [38]. Figure 4(a) shows the morphological characteristics of the sample TiO 2−x without fluorination treatment.…”

“…2d, the high-resolution C 1s XPS spectra of Pt@N,F-HCS and Pt@N-HCS samples can be divided into four peaks centered at about 284.6, 285.5, 286.4 and 288.2 eV, matching the C–C/CC, C–N/CN, C–N/C–O/C–F; C–N/C–O and O–CO bonds, respectively. 41,42 The specific proportions (%) of these bond types are detailed in Table S2 †. With the introduction of F doping, the proportion of C–N/C–O; C–N/C–O/C–F increased from 7.1% to 11.4%, while the ratio of C–N/CN decreased from 16.4 to 13.5%, indicating that F atoms with smaller radius successfully entered the N-doped carbon skeleton and bonded with the carbon atoms, which will lead to the distortion of the carbon lattice.…”
