Nicht-codierende RNA als Regulator der Neurogenese

Abstract: Long, non-coding (Inc) RNAs emerge as crucial regulators of gene expression. Their ability to interact with DNA and protein mediates the recruitment of regulators to defined chromosomal loci. LncRNAs are particularly abundant in brain tissues where they are involved in cell specification. We described a novel lncRNA, RUS (RNA upstream to Slitrk3), which interacts with epigenetic regulators and contributes to shaping the gene expression program of neural precursor cells towards neurogenesis.
