Paraneoplastic demyelinating neuropathy, subacute sensory neuropathy, and anti-hu antibodies: Clinicopathological study of an autopsy case

Chemotherapy may have contributed to the axonal lesions, but demyelination is not an usual feature of platin salt 14 or vinca alkaloid nerve toxicity. 20 Metabolic or hereditary demyelinating neuropathy can also probably be excluded on the basis of the laboratory results and the absence of foot deformity or a familial history.…”
