Neuromyelitis optica in childhood: a case report

Abstract: Introduction: Neuromyelitis optica (NMO) is a relatively rare inflammatory disease that primarily affects the spinal cord and optic nerves. Objectives: To report an atypical case of NMO in the child, with brainstem syndrome.
