Neurochemical Effects of Vitamins C, E and DMSO Combinations on Oxidative Stress Biomarkers and Severity of Ischemic Stroke in Wistar Rats

Abstract: Stroke is a growing disease and is the third commonest cause of death in the world after coronary heart disease and cancer, especially in the elderly [1]. In Nigeria, Stroke constitutes about 2.4% of all emergency admissions with cerebral infarction making up to 49% of all cases [2].
