[14] The results of the current study revealed that the use of saline nasal spray is more effective than routine nasal care in reducing colonization with different bacterial species and improving secretion score, these results were consistent with other studies showed that the usage of saline nasal drops 4 times daily through ten days is much helpful than the use of antiobiotic therapy in children with acute sinusitis. [15] It was proven that this therapy decreases such substances as prostaglandins, leukotriene, and histamine which causing direct inflammation.…”
