Nanocomposite Hard Coatings: Deposition Issues and Validation of their Mechanical Properties

Abstract: The limitations of conventional coatings due to inferior hardness or poor oxidation stability can be overcome by nanocomposite hard coatings such as nc‐TiN/a‐SiNx, which consists of nanocrystalline TiN and a non‐crystalline tissue phase of SiNx which are mutually immiscible. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
