“…Likewise, Lane's patient died from a lymphoblastoma interpreted as Hodgkin's disease (mycosis fungoides ?). Additional cases showing the transformation of what seems, in the early stages, to be poikiloderma vasculare atrophicans have been collected by Oliver (1936) and by me (Keil, 1938), a remarkable example being the instance originally recorded by Oulmann (1931) and subsequently described by H. Fox (1937). The fact of the matter is that little concerted effort has been made to ascertain the ultimate fate of patients afflicted with poikiloderma vasculare atrophicans, apart from a very few publications.…”
