“…A total of 95 specimens of S. trispinosus were sampled between July 2016 and March 2018; of these, 23 individuals were collected through scientific spearfishing at offshore reefs on the northern coast in depths between 8 and 12 m, and 68 were obtained through samplings at a fish market located on the eastern coast, where local fishers use inshore shallow patchy reefs to fish parrotfishes (see details in Roos et al 2016).
