Multiple attribute decision making model and application to food safety risk evaluation

Abstract: Decision making for supermarket food purchase decisions are characterized by network relationships. This paper analyzed factors that influence supermarket food selection and proposes a supplier evaluation index system based on the whole process of food production. The author established the intuitive interval value fuzzy set evaluation model based on characteristics of the network relationship among decision makers, and validated for a multiple attribute decision making case study. Thus, the proposed model pro… Show more

“…Miranda-Ackerman et al ( 2017 ) proposed a hybrid decision making model by integrating life cycle analysis (LCA), TOPSIS, and MOO model for food supplier selection problem in an orange juice industry. Ma et al ( 2017 ) studied food supplier selection in terms of safety risk factors using a MCDM-based interval intuitive fuzzy tool. Wang et al ( 2018 ) developed a fuzzy AHP (FAHP) and fuzzy data envelopment analysis (FDEA) methods for supplier selection problem considering sustainable factors in an edible oil production industry.…”

“…Consequently, Zadeh [ 12 ] presented the fuzzy set to deal with fuzzy and uncertain information. Since then, numerous of fuzzy decision making methods based on fuzzy set and its extensions have been developed and widely applied in various fields [ 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 , 17 ]. In order to make comprehensive appraisal of mine land reclamation, Zhou et al [ 18 ] proposed a modified VIKOR (vlsekriterijumska optimizacija i kompromisno resenje) method with triangle fuzzy numbers.…”

“…Regarding Destination, the managed attributes are: Demand for the product, Global customer demand and Global importance of the customer, in this case the criterion factor, No demand, will be discrete, with a value of zero (0), when there is no demand of the product and one (1) in any other case [18] [19].…”
