Abstract: Histiocytic sarcoma (HS) is a rare neoplasm with no known cause. This sarcoma is characterized by morphology similar to that demonstrated by mature tissue histiocytes and mostly afflicts adults. HSs typically have a poor prognosis due to a rapidly progressive clinical course.
