Abstract: A multifunctional nanoscale platform that is self‐assembled from a hydrophobic poly( dl‐lactide‐coglycolide)(PLGA) core and a hydrophilic paramagnetic‐folate‐coated PEGylated lipid shell (PFPL; PEG=polyethylene glycol) is designed for simultaneous magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and targeted therapeutics.
