Multi-image encryption based on 3D space scrambling and new spatiotemporal chaotic system

Abstract

In this paper, a novel spatiotemporal chaotic system is proposed, along with a new encryption method that combines scrambling and diffusion synchronization. This method is applied to the field of multi-image encryption. Specifically, a new spatiotemporal chaotic system, DCMLMDF, is introduced by incorporating a dynamic coupling method and a random delay feedback mechanism, which enhances the randomness and complexity of the encryption process. By integrating DCMLMDF with the multi-image encryption method designed in this paper, three-dimensional space scrambling and diffusion synchronization are achieved, effectively addressing the limitations of traditional encryption methods, such as prolonged encryption time and periodic risks. The results show that the encryption method proposed in this paper not only effectively confuses the image data but also improves the overall security of the system. This research advances the application of chaotic systems in the field of image encryption.
