Mulheres que sofrem violência doméstica: contribuições da psicanálise

Abstract

RESUMO.Este estudo busca compreender a influência da história de vida na escolha conjugal de mulheres que sofrem violência doméstica e os fatores que levam à admissão e/ou tolerância da repetição de um comportamento inadmissível. Participaram 12 mulheres, maiores de 18 anos de diferentes raças e níveis socioeconômicos e de escolaridade que sofreram violência doméstica perpetrada pelo parceiro íntimo, localizadas em dois Centros de Referência às Vítimas de Violência de Porto Alegre. As participantes preencheram uma Ficha de dados pessoais e sociodemográficos e responderam a uma entrevista semiestruturada. As entrevistas foram analisadas e categorizadas através da técnica de análise de conteúdo, e para a interpretação dos dados lançou-se mão da teoria psicanalítica. Os aspectos abordados permitem compreender a violência doméstica como resultante de uma história de vida marcada por vivências traumáticas que move estas mulheres, através da compulsão à repetição, à realização de escolhas conjugais que propiciam um cenário violento.Palavras-chave: Escolha conjugal; violência doméstica; teoria psicanalítica. WOMEN WHO SUFFER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: CONTRIBUTIONS OF PSYCHOANALYSISABSTRACT. This study seeks to understand how life history has an effect on the partner choice of women who suffers domestic violence and the factors that contribute for them to tolerate the repetition of an unacceptable behavior. The study included 12 women, aged over 18, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, education, who suffered domestic violence perpetrated by their intimate partners. The victims were found at two Reference Centers for Victims of Violence in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil. The participants filled out a Personal and Socio-demographic Form and answered to a Semi-structured Interview. The interviews were analyzed and categorized using the technique of content analysis. For the interpretation of the data, the psychoanalytic theory was used. The studied topics allow us to understand domestic violence as a result of a life history marked by traumatic experiences that move these women, through the compulsion to repeat, to perform partner choices that provide a violent scenario.
