“…Brazilian laws, in addition to protecting, also reveal the unequal conditions experienced by the most socially vulnerable population groups, and, consequently, many of them are also economically fragile. This set of laws is the result of pressure from social movements in favor of equal treatment and the dissolution of barriers present in the labor market, especially in remuneration (Ferraz, 2019;Mantovani, Paiva, and Staduto, 2021). The increase in the insertion and participation of women in the labor market (Bruschini, 2007), the flexibility of divorce (Becker, 1991;Suliano, Cavalcante, and Rodrigues, 2021), and recognition of the stable union between people of the same sex (STF, 2019) are among the recent advances.…”
