“…Rubbing with cologne or vinegar to treat their children's fever constituted as folk remedies in our population 22 . It was found that folk beliefs about fever were rejected with education in other populations 7,23–25 . We think that education about the potential harmful effects of these folk remedies should be given to parents in our population to prevent untoward consequences.…”
