Molecular and parasitological detection of Leishmania spp. in dogs caught in Palmas, TO, Brazil

Abstract: This study evaluated occurrences of Leishmania infantum in dogs in the municipality of Palmas, Tocantins, comparing diagnostic data obtained using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and parasitological diagnosis.
