Modeling of Globular and Dendritic Structure Evolution in Solidification of an Al-7mass%Si Alloy.

Abstract: The evolution of globular and dendritic structures in solidification of an Al-7mass%Si alloy has been investigated by a modified cellular automaton model (MCA).
