The Protective Action of Trypan Red Against Infection by a Neurotropic Virus

These authors found by comparison of the distribution of cocaine in untreated cats and cats injected intraperitoneally with trypan red that the cocaine in the cerebral cortex of the cats receiving trypan red was lowered by 31 per cent and in the cerebrospinal fluid by 40 per cent, while the concentration in the blood remained essentially the same (13).…”
