Clinical comparison between arthrocentesis and conventional conservative treatment with maxillomandibular fixation for unilateral high condylar fractures

Based on experimental findings, Ellis suggested that MMF delays the recovery of mandibular ROM following orthognathic surgery . We consider that there is a need for a shorter and less‐painful treatment protocol for patients with a condylar fracture.…”
