Mixed Doubles Match Technical and Tactical Analysis of World Badminton Champion Based on Mathematical Statistics

Abstract: This paper uses mathematical statistics method and analyzes the main scoring techniques: the serve technique, the jump smash technique, the net lob technique, the pushing backcourt ball technique and the smash technique by analyzing the data of the 29th Olympic Games by He Hanbin/Yu Yang (China) and Nova/Nasir (Indonesia). The analysis shows that: in the badminton mixed doubles match, since both sides are partners for many years, in order to win the game you must have good badminton technique; particularly the… Show more

“…These data give an approximate stroke-to-time ratio of 0.85–0.90, slightly higher than that found on a world-class level (Gawin et al, 2013). At the last three Olympics, a stable trend of around 1.5 is apparent (Abián-Vicén et al, 2018), which appears to be a high ratio given that the network game, is higher in doubles games is more evident (Zhang et al, 2013). Observing the structure by Set and by phase of competition may produce some results that can underpin modality-specific training.…”

“…Therefore, the service is a very important basic technique that a badminton player must master because the service is the initial capital to be able to win a badminton match (Zhang, Li, & Jiang, 2013). Service stroke is a stroke that crosses the shuttlecock to the opponent's field diagonally and aims to open the game (Subardjah, 2002).…”

“…Technical variables have been studied in professional badminton (Cabello and González-Badillo, 2003;Faude et al, 2007;Leong and Krasilshchikov, 2016;Zhang et al, 2013), and its analysis allows to identify the most decisive actions in this sport (Valldecabres et al, 2017). Researchers have studied the stroke average (Abián et al, 2014;Laffaye et al, 2015;Ming et al, 2008), stroke frequency (Alcock and Cable, 2009;Ming et al, 2008) and types of strokes used (Chiminazzo et al, 2018;Laffaye et al, 2015).…”
