Abstract: and Platinum(II)-Catalyzed Cyclization of 1,6-Enynes. -In the presence of Pt(II) catalysts, enynes of type (I)/(VII) undergo less common 6-endo-dig cyclization to fused pyran derivatives such as (II) and (VIII). Starting from simple enynes like (XV), skeletal rearrangement takes place which affords products of type (XVI), (XVII) and/or (XVIII).
