Water content in the camel milk was found 84% which is very close to the range of other finding (86-91%) [13][14][15][16] and the farming condition play important role for this value. Ash content was found 0.88% which is also within the range of other countries (0.35-0.95 %) [14][15][16].…”

Generally, the protein percentage in the milk is 2.5-4.5 [14][15][16]. Lower value of protein content might be due to high fat found in camel milk of Bangladesh.…”

The effect of water deprivation on milk production of camels (<i>Camelus dromedarius</i>)

The milk water content did not change inconsistent with the report of Yagil and Etzion (1980a) that stated that the dehydrated camels produce milk having elevated water content.…”
