Microwave absorption medium‐assisted extraction coupled with reversed‐phase dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction of triazine herbicides in corn and soybean samples

Abstract: A new extraction method, microwave absorption medium‐assisted extraction coupled with reversed‐phase dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction, was developed for the determination of triazine herbicides in corn and soybean samples. Triazine herbicides were extracted with hexane and then directly enriched into the ionic liquid phase. The purification of sample and concentration of target analytes were performed simultaneously. The method combines the advantages of nonpolar solvent dynamic microwave extraction an… Show more

“…Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) is the latest version of LPME, which was presented by Asadi and co-workers in 2006 [19] and has been used for the extraction and preconcentration of various organic and inorganic compounds [20][21][22]. One of the major problems of the DLLME method in its early introduction was the high consumption of disperser solvents and the use of toxic and environmental pollutants organic solvents as extractants.…”

“…For solid samples, in order to realize dynamic on‐line extraction, continuous‐flow microwave‐assisted extraction (CFMAE) was developed, which can continuously supply fresh extraction solvent, and the analytes were transferred out of the extraction vessel as soon as they were extracted [15,16]. The method can avoid the decomposition and contamination of analytes and realize on‐line filtration [17,18].…”

“…To satisfy the increasing daily requirement, herbicides have been widely used for the cultivation of oil crops to improve their quality and quantity. As a major group of herbicides, triazines are widely used for weed control [1, 2]. However, triazine residues can persist in the harvest stage; thus, the contamination of oil seeds or fruits may be transferred to oil products.…”
