Abstract: Background: Croton cordiifolius Baill. is popularly known as "quebra-faca" in the Brazilian Northeast and is used to treat general inflammation, pain, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Objective: This paper aims to study the anatomical characteristics of C. cordiifolius.
