Muzao polysaccharides (ZJPs) extracted from jujube have many biological activities, such as antioxidant (Chen et al., 2013; Wang, 2011), anticancer (Ji, Hou, et al, 2019; Wu et al., 2019), antibacterial, anti‐inflammatory (Li et al.,2014; Periasamy et al., 2020), hypolipidemic (Ji et al., 2018), immunoregulatory (Chi et al., 2015; Zhang et al., 2017), hepatoprotective (Liu et al., 2015), and enteroprotective (Ji, Hou, et al, 2019; Ji, Zhang, et al, 2019) activities.
