Abstract: Enhancement of structure-borne wave energy harvesting is investigated by exploiting metamaterial-based and metamaterial-inspired electroelastic systems. The concepts of wave focusing, localization, and funneling are leveraged to establish novel metamaterial energy harvester (MEH) configurations.
