“…Metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint arthritis may be idiopathic, posttraumatic, or secondary related to inflammatory disease, crystalline arthropathy, or hemochromatosis, usually involving the index and middle fingers. 1 , 2 , 3 The most common causes are rheumatoid and inflammatory arthritis.
