Messenger RNA expression and protein localization of growth hormone in bovine ovarian tissue and in cumulus oocyte complexes (COCs) during in vitro maturation

Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate whether bovine cumulus oocyte complexes (COCs) obtained from 2 to 8 mm follicles synthesize growth hormone (GH) during in vitro maturation. In addition the expression of growth hormone releasing hormone receptor (GHRH‐r) in the COCs before and after in vitro maturation was investigated. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
