O objetivo deste artigo é iniciar uma discussão crítica acerca da memória e seu lugar nos estudos organizacionais, mais especificamente no que diz respeito à história empresarial. Pensar o tema memória permite refletir sobre a ideia de que nenhum diálogo acerca do passado e do presente é neutro, uma vez que exprime um sistema de atribuições de valores.
