“…Jaroniec and co-workers developed a dry milling approach to construct a three component composite based on ordered mesoporous carbon, graphene oxide and CuBTC MOF in which triblock copolymer Pluronic F127 was used as a soft-templating agent and graphene oxide and tannin were used as carbon precursors. 220 In the initial step of the mechanosynthesis process, a mixture of Pluronic F127 and graphene oxide were milled for 5 min followed by adding mimosa tannin and a further milling for 1 h to obtain a paste-like product which directly carbonized under N 2 gas at 900 °C for 1 h. The obtained OMC/GO composite was then ball milled in the presence of Cu(NO 3 ) 2 ·3H 2 O and ZnO for 1 h. After that H 3 BTC ligand was added and the reaction mixture was milled for another 1 h to obtain OMC/GO/CuBTC composite. The characteristic peaks of CuBTC were observed in the PXRD pattern of the composite which confirmed the successful formation of CuBTC in the presence of carbonaceous materials.…”
