Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry identification of methanogens of clinical interest

Abstract: Methanogens, the archaea uniquely detoxifying fermentative hydrogen into methane in the digestive tract, are increasingly detected in pathology situations, rendering their rapid identification mandatory.
