Abstract:Background. Malaria is endemic in tropical and subtropical regions and causes up to one million deaths each year. It mostly affects sub-Saharan African countries including Ethiopia. In Ethiopia, it was estimated that about 75% of the land and 68% of the population are exposed to malaria.
