Surgical Compliance and Survival Outcomes for Patients with Stage T1-2 Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer

Abstract: Introduction: Our aim was to determine the relationship between surgical compliance and survival outcomes in patients with stage T1-2 non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Patients with T1-2 NSCLC who were diagnosed between 2004 and 2015 were identified from the SEER database. Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyse factors associated with surgical compliance. Kaplan-Meier curves and Cox regression were used to analyse the effects of surgical compliance on overall survival (OS) and cancer-s… Show more

“…Meanwhile, compared with old patients, young patients are more likely to receive medical and health care from the outside world. 11 These findings suggest that there may be different survival outcomes from younger to elderly PCa patients. To optimally evaluate the prognosis and select the appropriate treatment strategy, it is necessary to establish a novel survival assessment model.…”

“…There were an estimated more than 20,000 morbidity and 14,000 mortality due to lung cancer in 2019 [1] . Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common histopathological subtype of LC, accounting for about 85% of all LC, of which squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma are the most common subtypes [2,3] . Although improvements have been made in diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, many cases were still diagnosed at an advanced stage with poor diagnosis [4] .…”
