Abstract: Digital games are playing an ever growing role in today's society and economy due to technological and social developments. This trend is accompanied by an increasing need for professional translators and linguistic QA testers. But what are the stance and the chances of Translation Studies in the face of this trend? The following article tries to answer this question by analyzing the current situation and developing a QA model for the evaluation of translation and linguistic testing of digital games.
