To explore the learning effect of mainland students taught by Taiwan professors, this paper collects data through questionnaires and uses the multiple equal part linear regression to analyse the data. This paper explores the influence caused by factors such as the position of the images and the size or density of the word in the textbooks, which is in traditional Chinese character, used by professors from Taiwan. And other factors like the interest of students to the course and the motivation of the course selection are also analysed in this paper. Research results show that: all the typesetting factors and the motivation of the course selection have a great influence on students with poor learning performance. And the interest to the course also has a high impact on students with poor or moderate learning performance. Our research focuses on applying complex computing methods-including fuzzy computing and multiple equal part linear regression-to studies in education areas. It encourages more innovative interdisciplinary researches in the future.

Decentralized Model-free Loss Minimization in Distribution Grids with the Use of Inverters

Nowadays, distribution grids are undergoing massive penetration of renewable energy sources (RESs), especially rooftop photovoltaic solar panels (PVs) and small wind turbines (WTs), which lead to a greater ratio of fluctuating generation. As a result, the inherited problems of distribution grids, such as poor voltage profile and high power losses, become even worse due to bidirectional flows. To operate a grid in the optimal mode, we propose a communication-and model-free algorithm that exploits the inverters' capabilities to control the reactive power output. While inverters are already installed in the system for connecting PVs, the inclusion of our algorithm in the inverters' software allows minimizing active power losses in the grid. We provide a mathematical proof that the proposed algorithm has better performance than approaches from the previous works. Finally, we demonstrate the performance of the algorithm on a 141-bus radial system with the random placing of the generating units and provide the analysis of the gradual increase of distributed generation and its influence on the choice of the optimization algorithm.

In recent times, the power demand has been increased worldwide due to industrialization and urbanization using Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs). To improve Harmonic Distortion, a Hybrid Solar and Small Hydro (HSSH) based hybrid form of the renewable energy system has been developed. However, the high penetration of varying nonlinear PHEVs loads on the grid system can impact the system's performance in terms of power loss, voltage fluctuations, power quality, and harmonic distortion. In this article, Kalman Decoupled Harmonic Power Flow (KDHPF) technique is proposed primarily to calculate the harmonic current in the grid system. Consequently, the Bessel Filter Sallen Key (BFSK) and Multiobjective Firefly Algorithm (MOFA) are projected to control the bidirectional converter's voltage and current to improve the quality of power in the coordinated grid system. The power loss, error rate, and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) have been optimized by the MOFA optimization method. The implementation of this work is done in the MATLAB/Simulink platform. Moreover, the observed simulation results are compared with various existing techniques for validating the efficiency of the proposed method in terms of reduced 3.5% of THD and 0.000142 MW of power loss. The consequences proved that the projected grid coordinated system had achieved the finest performance under diverse cases.
