Abstract: In this study, we developed a spectral camera system using a liquid-crystal-based tunable Lyot filter for the purpose of applying imaging measurement to the spectroscopy of plasmas. For overcoming a major drawback in the Lyot filter, i.e., the generation of so-called "leak-bands," we installed a color CCD detector in the camera system. We verified the elimination of the leak-bands by the developed system through measurement of the 447 nm line of He plasma.
