Within a year, a further eleven cases were reported by Makino, Inone & Shimao (1972), and forty cases had been published by 1979 (Imamura er al., 1979)-Cairns (1976 from the United Kingdom described a rather similar patient with, in addition, pseudokeloids, but the original Japanese authors (Imamura et al, 1979) thought this was a different condition.…”
