Abstract: RESUMENPinguipes chilensis presenta un comportamiento alimentario y reproductivo que comprende todo el año, en donde índices de condición como Indice Hepatosomático y Factor de Condición no se relacionan con la madurez de las gónadas, indicando una posible independencia de la energía almacenada como lípidos en la musculatura y en el hígado con el proceso reproductivo.
