Abstract: Abstract. The theory of linear partitioning in binary provides a convenient guide to experimental work. To begin, solutions is here extended to solid-solid equilibria in P-X I review the case for isobaric melting of binary solutions, space at constant T, with general rules for formulating the linear relationship.
