As is elucidated in an excellent review by Kuruvilla et al, 10 all 10 of the leiomyosarcomas of the nasal cavity were alive without disease at last follow‐up. However, of the 20 patients with leiomyosarcomas that involved the paranasal sinuses, 70% had a recurrence or had persistent disease after therapy, 15% were alive without disease, and 10% died of their disease.…”
