The open-ended nature of the activities clearly fostered inquiry and curiosity (Edelson, 2001). The Hake values of the students using QUEST in Texas indicate that these students learned slightly more than their control group counterparts who were unable to become engaged in the activity in the same manner as the study group students.…”
