This research aims to investigate character values that can be applied on students through congkak game as it is used as a media of mathematics learning. This study used qualitative and quantitative combination or (exploratory mixed methods designs). The first phase of qualitative data was taken through in-depth interviews to 5 selected informants using purposive sampling technique. All data interviews were analyzed thematically using NVivo qualitative analysis tool 10. Then, the second phase of the data was taken using a questionnaire to 46 students who were studying in grade V and VI in an elementary school (SD). The entire data of the second phase analyzed descriptively using quantitative analysis tools SPSS Windows 18.0. Overall, the results of the two phases indicated that there were nine character values contained in the game congkak once it was used as a medium of mathematics learning. The nine-character values were honesty, discipline, hard working, creativity, curiosity, independent, communicativeness, responsibility and appreciation for achievements. The results also proved that the use of instructional media such as traditional game congkak can be used as an intermediary that can be used by teachers in mathematics learning process.

This research is inspired by the diversity of students in a number of private Madrasah Aliyah, Central Lampung. By purposive sampling, the researchers took two research locations: MAS Roudlotul Huda Padangratu and MAS Bustanul 'Ulum Jayasakti. The selection of the two locations was based on the fact that the principals of the two madrasahs could be managed well by the diversity of students. This qualitative study aims to determine the leadership role of the madrasah principal in inseminating socio-cultural values in the madrasah. By using documentation, observation, and in-depth interviews with madrasah leaders and several teachers, this study concludes that socio-cultural values are madrasah's efforts to improve student competence through the leadership role of the madrasah principal. Among the leadership strategies of the madrasah head are habituation strategies, exemplary strategies, value internalization strategies, policy strategies (power strategies), and persuasive communication strategies.

Difficulty in understanding and applying physics concepts is a problem that is often encountered in learning. Therefore, problem-solving abilities are needed in physics learning. The ability to solve problems in physics learning is an ability that students must have to find solutions to a problem, especially in understanding and applying physics concepts. Problem-solving in physics learning is certainly better if teachers explain directly. However, in certain situations such as the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers cannot help students directly. In hybrid learning, face-to-face learning can still be done virtually. Research in the last 10 years publish through reputable journals in various countries in the word (Taiwan, Belgia, Jerman and Indonesia) were are analyzed for the purpose of this article with the help of NVIVO 12 Software. Results of the analysis from various articles found that hybrid learning is a learning model that can be used as an alternative to help students solve problems in physics learning. For this reason, hybrid learning needs to be given serious support for the current learning process and teachers need to be given special and continuous training in the use of this learning model the learning process can be carried out well even in difficult situations like today.
